Hi. I was talking with a few people, Catz and ltmonkey and others, about racism on the server. It really upsets me and lt was very light hearted and told me that it wasn't a big deal and that its a joke and poeple on the net have no respect anyway so who cares. What I am saying is this: Sure, a lot of the Kaillera servers are racist or have racists on them. However, on the promo video it says wwl is "Home of friendship gaming". As friends, can we agree to be at least somewhat civil regarding slurs in the lobby? I am not asking to ban anyone or censor anyone or force anyone to do anything. I am asking, basically begging yall to do it on your own. You want to drop N-bombs, call each other fags, and deride this and that group for a joke, fine, do it in a private chat.

What does everyone think? Is it possible to have a little consideration and empathy for others and tone down that hateful ignorant bs, or does the freedom of the internet mean that every square inch of it is a free for all and fuck it and who cares?

I want honest feedback and if I disagree with anyone I will still listen to whatever your point of view is and try to be respectful. I mean no harm or ill will to anyone, just curious to know how we all feel (admins definitely weigh in please).

Again, the lobby doesn't have to be polite and quiet like a library or something, just keep your racist remarks to yourself.

This has been a issue that has been addressed many a time (even back in the days of the Godweapon Forums.) Besides it's the internet. In all honesty, people are going to act they way they want to act.
